Purposeful Pages Link-Up: August Edition

Purposeful Pages Meme

Welcome to the August edition of Purposeful Pages, everyone, hosted by Hannah Rodriguez and me, Amanda Beguerie.

We launched this monthly link-up last month, and it went so fabulously well – I’m really pleased and excited with how well it went, and the great response from all of you.

If you’re curious about Purposeful Pages, here’s the official description:

Purposeful Pages is a monthly link-up designed to unite bloggers on answering questions about life, blogging, the Bible, writing, and books.

If you’d like to know when it is, Purposeful Pages is live on the first Saturday of every month for you to jump in whenever you want, until the next set of questions is up. Anyone can join at any time.

So, you’re a blogger? You’re welcome to join! Today’s date is sometime between last month and this month? You’re welcome to participate!

If you’re interesting in submitting questions, you can submit them to Scattered Journal Pages or Furious Ever Afters via the contact forms on scatteredjournalpages.com (Amanda’s blog) and/or furiouseverafters.blogspot.com (Hannah’s blog).

Interested in participating? Awesome. We’d love to have you! All you have to do is follow these directions.

  • Link back to Hannah and Amanda’s blogs at the beginning of your post, and insert the Purposeful Pages header image (meme).
  • Copy and paste the description of Purposeful Pages above.
  • Answer the questions; if you don’t feel comfortable answering a question or it doesn’t apply to you, feel free to go on to the next one instead.
  • Comment on one of the girls’ blogs with the link to your post so they can check it out.

And if you want to do an extra favor for your readers, paste the above directions in your link-up post as well, so they’ll know how they can get involved.

Want to know why we call it Purposeful Pages? Read about it here. As for the short answer, here you are.

We call it Purposeful Pages because we believe that life should be purposeful in every way. In what we read, what we write, and how we live, we believe that purpose is important. Additionally, every blogger is a writer in their own way, and blogging is a way to share “pages” of our lives with others.

And here are the official questions for August!

Question Four // If you’re a novelist, answer: How would your main character most likely spend his or her Friday night? If you’re not a novelist, answer: How would you most likely spend your Friday night?
Question Five // What are the top three books you’re just dying to read?

  2. Going to write my post now! If it doesn’t go live this evening, I’ll have it up by Wednesday. Thank you so much for doing such a unique and interesting link up. May it flourish and grow 😉
Also, I’ve been reading your blog in the WordPress reader app the past few weeks and I don’t remember seeing your new header. Love it!

    1. Thanks for letting me know! Aww, well, it wouldn’t be a link-up if awesome people like you didn’t participate. 😀
Oh thank you! I appreciate that — and I’m trying to make changes here and there to make my blog more “me.” 😉
