Happy Saturday, everyone. I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but I’ve been on somewhat of a relationship-topic kick lately. When We Feel Unworthy of Being Loved, Crushes + True Love: Twenty-Seven Things I Wish I Knew When I Was Twelve, and random posts I’ve been stumbling across online have gotten me thinking about what love truly is.

Last week, we covered two main points – two to focus on, instead of the usual three-to-four.
*Jesus is our representative before God – and He gets us, because He Himself was human.
*Jesus is the source of eternal salvation. No one else.
And our weekly takeaway: “We are redeemed by Jesus – our mediator, our brother, our Savior.”

Maybe it’s a silly notion. Though I’m sure we’ve all felt it.
Unworthy. Undeserving. Afraid of not being enough. Not good enough to be loved.
Because deep down, we know we’re not truly “good,” in and of ourselves – and that’s a terrifying thought. But that fear doesn’t have to destroy us.
It’s never too late to join in this weekly blog Bible Study! Come find rest with us in this moment as we explore the book of Hebrews together.
A Brief Note: this isn’t a comprehensive and intense verse-by-verse Bible Study. It’s not a lecture, filled with incomprehensible theology and perplexing words – and I don’t want it to be taken that way.
This Bible Study is not a commentary and it’s not a headache, either. Really. No, it’s more like a regular blog post of mine – filled with a few truths from a few verses, and nothing too hard to “get.”
It’s truth for the people, people. I don’t want anyone to feel alienated. And yet, it’s so amazing to learn and be reminded of these important truths here in this Book.

Normally, because it’s a Tuesday in the summer, we’d be doing a Bible study on one chapter in the book of Hebrews. However, because I need to get around to doing it, it’s time for a June monthly recap instead. And anyway, breaks are good!
Wow. I can’t believe that the year is half-over already. Can you? June’s gone and here we are in July. Let’s get onto the recap!
