Purposeful Pages Link-Up: September Edition

Purposeful Pages Meme

Happy September and welcome to this month’s edition of Purposeful Pages, everyone.

It’s wonderful to have you here, and I’m so excited about this link-up hosted by Hannah and me.

Read on for a brief explanation of what this is all about and this month’s questions.

What is Purposeful Pages, you ask? Purposeful Pages is a monthly link-up designed to unite bloggers on answering questions about life, blogging, the Bible, writing, and books.

Purposeful Pages is live on the first Saturday of every month for you to jump in whenever you want, until the next set of questions is up. Anyone can join at any time.

Would you like to submit questions to us for upcoming months of this link up? You can submit them to Scattered Journal Pages or Furious Ever Afters via the contact forms on scatteredjournalpages.com (Amanda’s blog) and/or furiouseverafters.blogspot.com (Hannah’s blog).

Looking to participate? Here’s what you do:

  • Link back to Hannah and Amanda’s blogs at the beginning of your post, and insert the Purposeful Pages header image (meme).
  • Copy and paste the description of Purposeful Pages above, under “What Exactly is Purposeful Pages?”
  • Answer the questions; if you don’t feel comfortable answering a question or it doesn’t apply to you, feel free to go on to the next one instead.
  • Comment on one of the girls’ blogs with the link to your post so they can check it out.

And as one final piece of information before we give you September’s questions, we’d love for you to why we call it what we do.

We call it Purposeful Pages because we believe that life should be purposeful in every way. In what we read, what we write, and how we live, we believe that purpose is important. Additionally, every blogger is a writer in their own way, and blogging is a way to share “pages” of our lives with others.

Onto the questions!

Question One // How have you been growing spiritually this month? What has God been teaching you?
Question Two // // When you’re under stress, what actions do you take that help calm you and keep you sane?
Question Three // Who are some people that inspire you, and in what ways do they do that?
Question Four // Have you learned any tricks this past month that have helped you in your blogging journey?
Question Five // What is it about a book that makes you keep on reading? If you’re a writer, how can you  incorporate that into your own books?
Question Six // What’s a book cover (or album, movie, etc.) that describes your life right now, and why?
Question Seven // Do you have a song in mind that you’d consider your current theme song? (Or a book, movie, TV show, etc.)
Question Eight // If you’re a writer, how do you see yourself incorporated (most of the time unknowingly) inside your stories?
Question Nine // How have you seen aspects of God’s character through other people recently?
Question Ten // How long, on average, does it take you to put together a blog post? Are you the morning person working at 5 am, the afternoon blogger, or the night owl up until midnight trying to throw things together?
